AI Processing:

• Your uploaded content (text, images, PDFs) is securely sent to OpenRouter, our third-party AI service provider, to generate intelligent responses, summaries, analyses, and other educational assistance as requested by you

Service Provision and Improvement:

• To provide you with the app's functionalities and deliver accurate AI-generated responses
• To improve our app's performance, features, and accuracy
• To understand user needs and enhance the overall user experience
• To identify and fix bugs or other technical issues
• The user input saved by the app is used internally by us for the sole purpose of making the app's AI and features better and more effective

What We DON'T Do:

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We do not use your uploaded content (essays, documents, etc.) for targeted advertising
• We do not share your academic work or personal content with other users
• We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy

4. Data Retention

10-Day Maximum Storage for User Content:

• All user-provided content (text, images, PDFs) and the direct AI-generated responses associated with that content are automatically deleted from our active systems after a maximum of 10 days. This limited retention period is in place to allow you to access recent work and to help us improve our services while respecting your privacy.

Immediate Deletion Available:

• You can request the immediate deletion of your user-provided content and associated AI responses at any time by contacting our support team at aiessayhelper1@gmail.com

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: Data transmission between your device and our servers, and between our servers and OpenRouter, is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
• Secure Storage: Your content is stored securely during its temporary retention period.
• Infrastructure: We utilize trusted cloud infrastructure providers with robust, enterprise-grade security measures.
• Internal Practices: We regularly review our data collection, storage, and processing practices to ensure data protection.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your user-provided content.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You can stop using our services at any time, which will cease further data collection from your active use.

7. Third-Party Services

OpenRouter AI Service:

• We use OpenRouter to provide core AI capabilities within TalibTools. When you use features that require AI processing, your content is sent to OpenRouter.
• OpenRouter processes your data according to their privacy practices. We encourage you to review OpenRouter's Privacy Policy, which can be found here: openrouter.ai/privacy
• OpenRouter does not use your data to train its models or retain it permanently, as per our understanding of their policies.

Google AdMob (Advertising):

• Users on the free plan see a banner ad provided by Google AdMob. Subscribers do not see ads.
• To show and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location based on IP address, and ad interaction data. Where required by law, we ask for your consent first, and on iOS we only use the advertising identifier if you allow tracking.
• Your study content (text, images, PDFs) is never shared with advertisers.

No Other Sharing (Except as Required by Law):

• Beyond our essential service providers like OpenRouter and Google AdMob, we do not share your personal data with other third parties unless required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

8. Children's Privacy

TalibTools is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
